The role and what we are looking for

The Governance and Assurance Specialist role will support the Head of Broking & Business Support to perform compliance monitoring activities for our risk division. Working in Line 1, the role will support senior management to conduct regular and ad-hoc monitoring of business processes to ensure ongoing compliance with our regulatory and internal compliance obligations. This includes ensuring risk incidents, issues, complaints, and internal policies and procedure reviews are completed within set timeframes. This role is also responsible for completing standard compliance-related tasks e.g., annual compliance statements. The role will also work with the Head of Broking and Business Support to develop, implement, and maintain new monitoring activities across the business.
