About the role

As the Customer Marketing Manager, you’ll play a highly pivotal role in the success of Optus’ strategic base transformation program. You’ll be responsible for the design, development, execution, and reporting of the marketing strategy and marketing campaigns to transform our customer base using a holistic base management approach to grow value.

You will be joining a high-profile team and be the lead into many of our channels including retail, customer support, online, and business partnering. Ensuring all frontline teams have visibility and knowledge of any in market offers and upcoming propositions, customer comms and migration pain points including remediation; your key responsibilities and objectives will include (but are not limited to):

  • Design, develop and execute the end-to-end marketing campaigns for customer base transformation (across Mobile, Home and Content).
  • Understand and manage complex data sets to build marketing and mandatory communications.
  • Lead and implement customer programs and initiatives across channels.
  • Continually striving for improvements in campaign effectiveness.
  • About you

    In addition to having previous experience in campaign management working with both internal teams and external vendors, you’ll bring a strategic marketing lens to base transformation initiatives. You have the ability to work to tight timeframes and within budget and have previously worked in a matrix organisation being able to adapt/flex with the natural rhythm of business planning cycles. Additionally, you will also bring to the role:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or professional experience in a Marketing or related environment.
  • Extensive experience working with complex data and collaborating with campaign delivery in the design, set up and execution of campaigns.
  • Broad experience of end-to-end campaign management across channels, including DM, TM and online.
  • Knowledge of the Australian Telecommunication Consumer Products Industry.
  • Ability to plan, present and influence across all levels.
  • Capable in making tough decisions, to quickly analyse a problem and implement a solution.
  • Previous experience with Salesforce/Exact Target, Google Analytics, Engage Click, and with key data management systems such as SAAS, ANM, Pega.
