DFP Recruitment Perth are seeking experienced finance, payroll and accounts professionals for numerous government contracts around Perth, Western Australia.
  • $- per hour plus Super (depending on experience and role)

  • Examples of responsibilities that may be included in these roles:
  • Providing general financial accounting services covering a range of activities including processing purchasing and accounts payable transactions, end of month financial procedures, financial reporting, asset management, credit card processes, fringe benefits tax, vehicle management, accounts receivable and resolution of internal and external audit queries
  • Preparation of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reports and cashflow statements
  • Managing the general ledger including overseeing the monthly balance sheet, banking, and inter-company reconciliations
  • Completion of the monthly accruals, journals, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules
  • Weekly cash flow reporting
  • Preparation of GST, FBT, Payroll and Corporate Income Tax returns
  • Assisting in the preparation of year end statutory accounts
  • Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensuring Accounting standards and policies are adhered to
  • International reporting
  • Assisting in process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives
    About You:
  • Demonstrated experience in, and understanding of, accounts, finance and payroll procedures and systems
  • Excellent data entry skills with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills 
  • Demonstrated skills in the use of full MS Office suite
  • Well-developed organisational, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills, under limited supervision
  • Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and ability to interpret awards, agreements, legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Ability and confidence to provide advice and guidance to managers and staff
  • At least 2+ years demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Candidates must have full working rights within Australia
  • Candidates must be able to pass a National Police Clearance check (if required)
