This studio offers a central and convenient location in a buzzing inner city suburb, work/life balance and attractive salary.The Submissions Manager is responsible for managing, monitoring, and delivering tenders submissions, expressions of interest, proposals, capability profiles and contributing collateral to drive new and existing business along with brand awareness. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify business development opportunities for new projects and strategic approach.
  • General knowledge sharing across the practice in approach to winning work.
  • Teaching Project Leaders fee proposal writing in response to client brief.
  • Maintain project sheet register, project sheets, project information and project copy
  • Tenders, EOIs, Capability Profiles, Fee Proposals
  • Tender co-ordination including document set up, distribution of addenda and monitoring of online tender forums
  • Generate job numbers for submissions
  • Maintain currency of online tender alert accounts, filter and distribute possible tenders
  • Manage schedule of tenders and fee proposal workflow among the Communications Team
  • Initiate tender kick off-meetings, Go/No Go and strategy meetings where appropriate
  • Tender writing including tailoring of existing collateral and editing of bid content
  • Draft and proof text to create and maintain a library of useful tender collateral
  • Population of tender schedules
  • Maintain quality control in print production, typography and proof reading
  • Follow up of external subconsultant inputs where appropriate
  • Manage government prequalification schemes
  • Preparation of other new business collateral as required eg. Capability Statements, Presentations and Expressions of Interest
  • Skills and Experience

  • Industry experience in architecture, interior design, or construction required
  • Writing and editing skills
  • A sound understanding of the technical requirements for print and digital output
  • Be adept at understanding tender requirements and deadlines
  • Possess excellent communication and liaison skills with senior management and key stakeholders
  • Must be able to work under pressure with simultaneous deadlines
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Suite
