Job Description

Position Purpose: This position, primarily focused on leveraging and adopting Salesforce (CRM), will be responsible for providing the reporting and analytics support to the commercial organization to drive customer retention, business value, and growth. These responsibilities will include the development of customer behaviour analyses, proactive account health management reports, SWOT analyses, reviewing transactional data structure, and managing commercial incentive plans. Additional responsibilities include the management of select commercial initiatives, quality assurance of the enterprise BI program, as well as Salesforce and Power BI report and dashboard design.

Major/Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop customized reporting to deliver on customer expectations, monitor customer supply chains, and increase ease of doing business

  • Support commercial leadership team through key indicator analysis and insight delivery

  • Build automated reporting for teams leveraging critical technologies including Salesforce, Power BI and Business Warehouse

  • Support business intelligence tool development through interfacing with business to refine requirements, testing, end-user training, and front-end design work

  • Responsible for collaborating with commercial teams to ensure account management is proactive

  • Responsible to organize commercial team efforts on key commercial or supply chain initiatives

  • Identify transactional errors that may be skewing reporting and KPI health & growth metrics

  • Support growth of statistical modelling to solve business problems

  • Support growth and reporting accuracy through the CHEPMatch process

  • Support Salesforce CRM tool through reporting and dashboard development

  • Be the Sales & Customer Operations Subject Matter Expert for systems and metrics

  • Train Commercial Team on software, tools, and metrics

  • Skills and Knowledge

    • Skilled in computer systems and applications including:
    • Advanced Excel skills required
    • Intermediate to advanced Power BI skills with focus on front-end design, UX, and DAX strongly preferred
    • Intermediate to advanced skills with Business Warehouse and/or SAP preferred
    • Intermediate to advanced skills with Salesforce reports/dashboards preferred
    • Strong business acumen; able to operate as a translator between highly technical roles and business requirements
    • Working knowledge of CHEP: Business model, Sales, Customer Service, Invoicing, Transaction Controls, and Stock Audit processes preferred
    • Must be able to function effectively in a cross-functional and high-activity environment
    • Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making, and organizational skills 
    • Capability to create SOPs, work instructions, dashboards, and scorecards
    • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure to quickly develop and execute a plan with flexibility to adjust to changing priorities
    • Able to present progress, findings, status, risks, next steps and recommendations to leaders
    • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of upstream/downstream impacts of changes
    • Provide improvements to existing reports to drive less transactional complexity
    • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
