What is the Opportunity?
A fantastic opportunity now exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Field Service Technician to join our passionate, highly driven and successful Service Team based in Canning Vale, Western Australia.
As a Service Technician, you will apply your technical knowledge to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Arjo equipment and products for our customers on-site within the care facility. Your skills will help empower movement for people facing mobility challenges and increase the quality of lives for residents, patients and caregivers.
Reporting to the Aftermarket Manager, the Field Service Technician will have a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
Your role will involve: Carry out installation, maintenance, repairs and testing of Arjo range of products (medical equipment) Conducting routine scheduled servicing; Install systems to full working capacity and ensuring operators are aware of operating and emergency procedures; Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes; Maintain and report spare parts stock accurately in service ERP system; Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Company Policy; Travel to regional areas in WA when/as required e.g. Kalgoorlie, Norseman, and Esperance.
To be successful in this position, you will possess: Mechanical and/or Electronics background; Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills and ability; Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tools, soldering, power tools and test/inspection equipment; Service experience preferably within the Healthcare or service related sector; The ability to understand the customer’s needs and provide appropriate solutions; Strong time management skills with an ability to meet company performance targets; Have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, be well presented, confident and sensitivity interacting with staff and clients; Computer literacy; The ability to work without direct supervision yet within a team environment; A current WA driver's licence (Class C) is essential; Due to the role working in hospitals and aged care facilities, you are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to commence in this role.
