The Position

Roche Diagnostics Australia (RDA) has just opened an exciting opportunity for the position of Account Manager - Centralised and Point of Care Solutions (CPS) Sales Specialist for NSW West and North, in our Customer Success Community. The Account Manager role is a key contributor to achieving success through strong sales and commercial acumen that delivers exceptional results in the field. Data analytics, market assessment, proactive sales analysis and CRM solution utilisation will be key to successful execution.

In this role, leveraging your Core Laboratory sales experience, you will actualise the sales execution of RDA through the provision and coordination of all sales activities for existing and new solutions and products, management of customer and sales data and implementation of local and international Marketing campaigns in order to achieve the overall vision and goals. As a member of the sales execution team and reporting to the CPS National Sales Manager, you will specifically collaborate with Commercial Excellence, Customer and State Business Partners, Finance Business Partners, Strategy and Solutions and all Business support functions to ensure you deliver success to your community.

This role will require intimate knowledge of the core laboratory field, specifically clinical chemistry, immunoassay, haematology and digital morphology, as well as knowledge of market dynamics and the technical portfolio that forms part of this discipline. This position is regarded as a key function for all aspects of the sales process from opportunity identification through to close. Knowledge of the field will require experience working directly with core laboratory customers to find answers through our solutions. Knowledge of market dynamics will come through experience working within the core laboratory portfolio and understanding the needs of customers and clinicians. In addition, as the portfolio evolves it is expected that the Account Manager remains current and up to date with relevant market and portfolio changes.

This role will be field based with support from the National Sales Manager and Solution Management team as well as Field Application Specialists to build stronger relationships with customers and KOLs. It will be expected that relationships are built at both the laboratory and the pathologist level and that these relationships are leveraged through the course of the sales process to enhance the chance of success. The role will lead by example by placing customers at the center of what we do and develop exceptional relationships that will foster success in the future.

Active and value adding participation in cross community meetings will be notable from this role. The role requires a firm grasp on the financial position of their territory at any given time. Measures such as YTD v pYTD, market growth, funnel value, close dates, opportunity stage and confidence rates will be a baseline knowledge set for this role along with the ability to present this to leadership when required.

The understanding and development of deal calculations will have a compounding positive effect on the financial performance of the business through leveraging market knowledge and internal Business Partners to develop a solution that is profitable and suitable for the customer.

Underlying all of the success driven activities will be a core of curiosity to challenge the status quo, building new ways of operating to deliver solutions to customers and provide exceptional experiences along the way.

This role will require outstanding communication and territory leadership skills and through the coaching and mentorship available to you at Roche, you will be entrusted and empowered to run your territory effectively.
