The Project

The CPB Contractors, Ghella & UGL joint venture has been successful in securing the contract to deliver the $2.6bn M6 Stage 1 project. The project will deliver the missing link from Sydney’s south to the wider Sydney motorway network making journeys easier, faster and safer. It will remove more than 2,000 trucks a day from surface roads and help return local streets to local communities.

With work having commenced in early 2022, the M6 Stage 1 project scope includes the construction of twin four-kilometre tunnels and associated works, linking the M8 Motorway at Arncliffe to President Avenue at Kogarah.

The Opportunity

We are looking for Site Administrators to provide efficient and professional administrative support to enable the smooth running of the project.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Processing requisitions and purchase/hire orders
  • Reconciling and processing accounts
  • Manage and process payroll timesheets for submission to Payroll Officer
  • Processing monthly progress claims and variations to contracts
  • Assisting with the preparation of subcontract agreements and variations
  • Management and reporting of accruals
  • Maintenance of expense claims
  • Assisting in the month-end process
  • Maintaining various registers and spreadsheets
  • Assist with preparing, formatting and collating reports and presentations
  • Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers as required
  • Meet/greet and provide assistance to clients and visitors in a professional manner, including telephone and email enquiries
  • Manage meeting room bookings, room set up, attendance, catering, equipment
  • About You

  • Diploma in Business Administration or Finance desirable, but not essential
  • Prior experience in a similar administrative role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong level written and verbal communication
  • Strong client focus and relationship management
  • Experience with JDE software desirable, but not essential
  • Demonstrate a high attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines whilst managing conflicting priorities in a high volume work environment
  • The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
