    The Role

    A unique opportunity exists for a highly energetic and empathetic Project Manager to join our Building Projects Team in Sydney . This role will service some of our most valuable customers being various religious orders spread across mainly Sydney, though also NSW.

    The environment will suit a results driven 'all-rounder' who has a practical outcome driven approach and a strong client focus. The person who would do well in this role would be patient and diligent with an up market focus for best possible outcomes for this set of customers.

    Reporting to the State Manager, this dynamic role is responsible for estimating, quoting, planning subcontractor and internal labour, arranging materials and equipment to ensure maintenance and small building projects are completed on time and to budget. The primary objective of this role is to achieve customer satisfaction and profitable project delivery. In addition, the individual will support the team to capitalise on its operational success by generating cross sell opportunities and winning additional work.

    Skills and Experience

    To be successful in this challenging but rewarding role you will require:

  • Experience as a building professional or building trade background
  • Previous experience dealing with religious organisations property portfolios
  • Previous experience managing site based teams
  • A keen eye for detail and a can do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills
  • Experience in high volume works under $100K preferred, but more important is your experience managing people and projects
