ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We’re searching for a Social and Content Marketing Manager in a newly created role to lead our earned and paid social and content strategy and execution. This is a rare opportunity to create a social and content strategy from scratch, with a sizeable budget to bring it to life. Finance experience is not essential, product training is provided. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead CMC Markets social and content strategy across multiple channels, including Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, TikTok, Webinars, and other channels.
  • Uncover customer insights across APAC & CA to shape content that encourages new users to trade and invest.
  • Co-lead the 1-year and 3-year content and social strategy roadmap across APAC & CA markets.
  • Generate multimedia content and social for appropriate channels.
  • Develop a consistent style guide for all CMC Markets social and content across APAC & CA.
  • Lead conversations by being reactive to news events - moments create market conditions.
  • Experiment with new social media channels and creative techniques to drive engagement.
  • Use measurement tools and data-analytics to monitor, measure and analyse content and social.
  • Brief in creative agencies and in-house designers to generate thumb-stopping visual assets.
  • Plan and oversee webinars to align with the product roadmap and reflect market conditions.
  • Ensure compliance and relevant legal regulatory requirements are followed.
  • Strong stakeholder management across APAC & CA.
  • Other Brand & PR marketing tasks as required.
  • General responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the APAC & CA region.
  • Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
  • KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    Must haves:

  • 8+ years of direct experience building social and content strategies and measuring effectiveness.
  • Ability to coordinate a team of six Technical Analysts and Digital Distribution Analysts to make CMC Markets’ content and social highly engaging.
  • Proven ability to create easy-to-understand topics from complex technical themes and products.
  • Experience in reaching Millennial and Boomer audiences.
  • Familiarity with content and social management systems. 
  • A test and learn mentality.
  • Relevant degree.
