We are currently seeking a Specialist IT Application Integration Developer to be based in our office at Milton.
Reporting to the Applications Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining business application integrations to deliver process efficiencies and data hygiene across Golding critical systems.
Golding offer flexible working arrangements with the option to work from home 1-2 days a week or as agreed with your Manager.
Key role tasks : Lead activities to analyse and model application and data integrations to support business processes defined through business improvement initiatives; Design, develop and document system to system application interfaces, data flows and APIs; Design, develop and document data models and data standards for application and system integrations; Assist with the design and development of data ingestion and data visualisation; Perform disciplined management of testing and change in our data and information environments, defining and conducting unit and integration testing for data flows; Develop and maintain documentation to support the data and information management landscape; Support data owners and custodians in identifying data gaps and recommending solutions to fill these; Maintain and optimise existing solutions, monitoring process data and recommending improvements to process and data owners; Develop and maintain a high-level understanding of the technical landscape and architecture.
Key capability requirements :
The successful candidate will have a: Minimum of 7+ years’ experience as an Application Integration Developer working within a project based environment; Degree in IT or related disciplines; Outstanding communication skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels of the organisation including internal, external stakeholders and vendors; High level of analytical skill, able to problem solve, debug, performance tune and develop fit for purpose solutions.
Any have experience with: Strong professional hands-on experience with a Cloud Application Integration platform, preferably Informatica IICS; Application Integration design & architecture experience preferably with SAP ECC; API lifecycle design - Service modelling, domain driven (microservices) and event driven design; Experience with application integration with cloud services; Demonstrable experience with ETL/ELT tools, preferably Informatica/IICS; Database knowledge including SQL Server, PostgreSQL and MaxDB; and
