The Trade teams’ goal is to showcase Nine, its brands and products to our trade partners, including Chief Marketing Officers and Media/Creative agencies. We strive to position the Nine brand so that our trade partners not only see us as offering the most effective platforms for advertising, but also as the most progressive, innovative and market-leading media and entertainment brand in Australia. Through the development of collateral, campaigns and events we aim to build and promote Nine as the brand that our trade partners/clients want to align themselves with, not just buy advertising products from.
Your primary content focus will be on Nine’s Television offering (Linear Television / Broadcast Video on Demand). 
The Trade Marketing Executive – Television role is a crucial function within the team, ensuring all business-to-business campaigns are executed to the highest possible standard. Working alongside the Group Trade Marketing Manager, you will work to execute key television (Metro, Regional & 9Now) initiatives and plans within the marketing function. You will ensure a daily dissemination of sales collateral, e-communication, and website maintenance is delivered to provide our national sales team with timely and useful information to help position Nine’s products and services to advertising clients and media buyers as leading in market.
The role in a nutshell:

  • Oversee, craft and build timely content for e-communications purposes using Adobe Campaign Manager
  • Manage our corporate website
  • Manage Nine’s B2B LinkedIn channel, including content creation, scheduling, and growth targets 
  • Collaborate with Nine’s marketing solutions division, Powered by Nine, to ensure go-to-market material is underpinned by insights and creativity 
  • Manage creative briefs alongside the design team to ensure sales material is delivered to the highest possible standard
  • Analyse television audience metrics to assist in reporting to market Nine’s leading programming performance
  • Create detailed case studies to help showcase how Nine has worked with brands to realise their big marketing ideas
  • Help coordinate external communications for Nine’s specialist small to medium business division, Nine Plus, including website management, testimonial campaign creation and post analysis, edm strategy
  • From time to time, support the Trade Marketing events function in on ground agency activation and event management

You will be a collaborative team player, who shows commitment to the team's purpose and effectively contributes and shares skills and knowledge with others. You will be driven and passionate about building and promoting the Nine brand. 

    What makes you right for the role:

  • 18 months+ experience in Media or Marketing 
  • An understanding of the media landscape, specifically linear television and broadcast video on demand
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • A keen eye for detail and an appreciation for high quality design execution
  • Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience managing key stakeholders
