**Overview**

M Health Fairview is seeking a Nutrition services Aide for St. John's hospital! Although this opportunity is not benefit eligible, it is still an outstanding opportunity to work with a great company!

**Summary:** This is an engaging Call Center role where you will be taking orders from patients and crafting positive relationships. There is also transporting food from kitchen to patient

**WEEK 1:**

Monday - 4:00pm-8:00pm - Call Center

Thursday - 4:00pm-8:00pm - Transport

Saturday - 4:00pm-8:00pm - Transport

Sunday - 4:00pm-8:00pm - Transport

**WEEK 2:**

Thursday - 4:00pm-8:00pm - Transport

Friday - 4:00pm-8:00pm - Transport

**Responsibilities**

+ Maintains knowledge of, and follows, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standards

+ Actively participates in crafting and implementing improvements to achieve clinical, happiness and/or efficiency outcomes

+ Prepares food in an efficient, safe and timely manner according to department service times and schedules, using standardized recipes and following accurate techniques

+ Covers, labels, dates and rotates all food prior to storing to ensure department and regulatory agency standards are met

+ Washes dishes and/or pots and pans according to established procedures and time frames

+ Practices accurate infection control methods including hand-washing, personal hygiene and infection control policies

+ Performs a specific task on trayline during the assembly of patient trays

+ Delivers trays to patients, collects trays after meal service. Delivers floor stock and/or nourishments to patients and nursing unit

+ Performs a variety of cafeteria and/or coffee shop duties which may include plating, using portion control and cashiering operation

**Qualifications**

**Required Qualifications:**

+ Must be at least 16 years of age

+ No experience required

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Actively pursing a high school diploma or equivalent

**Desired Skills:**

+ Ability to operate cleaning equipment; familiar with cleaning products, chemicals, and safety procedures

+ Ability to use a computer and applications that are associated with performing basic work tasks (use a mouse, navigate in Windows, Outlook, etc)

+ Skilled in developing effective rapport with customers, co-workers, or families, actively listening to develop a positive connection

**_Vaccination Update_**

_As part of our ongoing efforts to protect the wellbeing of our teams and to provide a safe and healthy environment for the patients and communities we serve, all Fairview employees will be required to receive both an annual flu vaccination and the COVID-19 vaccination series. Current employees must have completed both vaccination schedules on or before October 31, 2021.Beginning August 9, 2021, any new hires who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to receive their first dose prior to their start date and their second dose (if receiving Moderna or Pfizer vaccines) within 4 weeks of their start date.
