This is a Full Time, Exempt position, located in our Headquarters office in Seattle, WA, with remote flexibility.

In this role, your essential functions will be to:

* Provide analytical support for rebate process management for all products sold to national, regional, and local dealers, builders, and distributors
* Problem-solving and communication with customers and account managers, Wood Products Accounting, Weyerhaeuser Internal Audit and KPMG
* Interface with internal and external customers
* Communicate directly with customers, account managers, region managers and sales reps to resolve questions and problems related to rebate agreements or reports
* Provide detailed reports for key customers
* Requires understanding of customers' organizational structure and product groupings
* Administer rebate process
* Manage approval process for rebates
* Calculate and generate rebate payments
* Work with Independent Distributors to capture and utilize sales data in rebate calculations
* Maintain integrity of related rebate accounting processes
* Accurately create, review and book monthly journal entries for accruals and charge-outs to plants
* Maintain reconciliation files using downloads from ledger and database
* Monitor liability balances and provide data for account reconciliation
* Data management
* Assist with maintenance of customer groupings in rebate databases and SAP
* Maintain customer agreement information in the Rebate Database
* Work with data received from multiple sources to format for import into databases
* Analytical support
* Review growth targets for customer contracts and agreements
* Use data collected to forecast rebate expense and liability
* You have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and/or five plus years combined experience in accounting, audit, or sales roles
* Demonstrated safe behavior in the workplace
* Demonstrated analytical skills and experience, including the development and maintenance of computer financial models
* Demonstrated ability to use Excel efficiently to automate processes
* Demonstrated ability to manage large workload by prioritizing work efficiently
* Understanding of financial systems and tools to access and report financial information
* Demonstrated problem-solving ability
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
* Able to build and maintain positive relationships with a variety of people in different disciplines

Preferred:

* Prior work experience in and familiarity with Wood Products businesses and SAP
