Job Description and Responsibilities

As the Operational Excellence Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the corporate operational excellence strategy at an EVRAZ Business Systems (EBS) deployed unit with a focus on employee engagement and cultural transformation. In this role you will use your ability to demonstrate your continuous improvement mindset as you support all activities assigned to the program office. * Actively lead process improvement projects with cross-functional teams, including ideation through to implementation and control of solutions


* Analyze data and monitor performance financial and operational KPIs with units daily


* Identify and develop operational change activists while establishing a strong communication and engagement within stakeholders


* Identify, quantify, and execute on EBS activities your assigned business unit


* Showcase your indirect influencing skills by leading training, coaching and mentoring sessions with shop personal


* Support all EBS activities within the life cycle of each project


* Improve employee engagement and collaborate with operators to improve performance


* Working with site administrative support functions such Human Resources, Finance and Accounting, IT, to create a collaborative approach to EBS success



Requirements

* 4 years Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering or Business


* 5 years' minimum manufacturing or heavy industrial experience required, steel industry experience an asset


* Knowledge or experience with Six Sigma, SPC, 5-S, TMC, Project Management practices or other quality/process improvement programs, a plus


* Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines


* Seasoned written and verbal communication skills


* Strong collaborator and ability to influence at production unit


* Solid team building skills and demonstrated ability to motivate and coach a high performing team


* Ensures accountability and sets clear expectations with timelines and deliverables


* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment


* Expert with analytical tools with a strong understanding of statistics


* Ability to travel up to 25%
