Our Opportunity:

The Sr Program Manager, Continuous Improvement is responsible for managing a portfolio of projects within Chewy's Continuous Improvement and Lean Programs. This role establishes a pipeline of initiatives for businesses supported by CS Continuous Improvement and, leading a team of process engineers, delivers the projects in the pipeline on time and with high quality outputs. With a focus on deploying Lean Principles and driving standardization, this role is critical in ensuring Chewy maintains a customer centric approach by eliminating waste throughout the value stream. This position will help drive improvements to safety, customer experience, quality and productivity.

What you'll do:

* Oversee and be a driving force behind the development of a pipeline within Chewy's Lean Initiatives Program.
* Responsible for leading a team of Lean/Continuous Improvement process engineers; setting priorities, road map creation, project evaluation and ensuring the team meets or exceeds the annual savings targets.
* Establish KPIs and targets along with roadmap to provide accountability and measure success.
* Engage, mentor, evaluate and develop process engineers within your team.
* Effectively communicate with senior leadership from other organizations to align resources and priorities so that all teams achieve annual savings targets.
* Ability to analyze large data sets and dig into details to assess trends along with areas of opportunity to have biggest impact to bottom line.
* Lead the identification of trends, factors and KPIs with the objective of reducing variable customer service cost per order.
* Work with engineering and operations leadership to identify process bottlenecks and build solutions supported by data.
* Responsible for modeling a Lean Culture, as well as mentoring/advocacy across the entire CS network.
* Ability to think out of the box and scale enough to align with current growth projections. Must be flexible, have dynamic and innovative mindset with strong emphasis on customer experience, safety and frugality.

What you'll need:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred (Technical, Business, Management)
* Six Sigma Green Belt or Master Black Belt/Six Sigma Black Belt Preferred
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience in statistical analysis coupled with the ability to provide objective feedback and accurate root cause analysis
* Excellent project management skills and experience
* Minimum of 2 years of experience leading a team of Lean/Six Sigma professionals
* Minimum of 5 years of practical experience implementing Lean principles and simultaneously managing multiple large-scale projects.
* A proven track record of driving change and delivering results.
* Strong written and oral communication skills that allow for effective communication across all levels of the organization.
