Position Summary:

We are currently looking to add a Commercial Lines Account Manager to our growing team. This position is responsible for providing prompt courteous service to our clients and support to our Account Executive Staff.

This position offers the individual to sit remotely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Establish and maintain relationships with client utilizing excellent verbal and written communication in all phone calls
* emails and any other correspondence
* Prepare complete renewal submissions including updating coverages, questionnaires, applications, and other
* required spreadsheets as directed by Account Executive
* Process endorsements and ensure they are correct as requested and update EPIC
* Process Auto changes upon receipt from client by notifying carrier and issuing ID card
* Skillfully use agency management system (EPIC) to effectively manage daily activities, email, suspense items, etc.
* Consult with Account Executive to establish renewal marketing strategy 120 days prior to expiration date
* Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules and proposals as requested by Account Executive
* Provide direct support for Account Executive in handling day-to-day client needs in a professional manner

Education and/or Experience:

* High School Diploma or the recognized equivalent is required
* Property & Casualty insurance license, required
* Minimum of three (3) years commercial insurance industry experience or related work, required
* One (1) year of Contractor, Flood, Windstorm insurance experience, preferred
* Insurance designations preferred but not required

Technology Skills:

* Applied Epic or similar agency management software experience, preferred
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

* Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy
* Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
* Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work with and meet specific deadlines
* Ability to multi task, prioritize, work independently and use discretion surrounding sensitive information
* Time Management Skills with ability to prioritize workload
* Ability to work independently and with a high degree of interaction with Account Executives and Producers
* Technical Skills - excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to comprehend written/verbal instructions
