You will be a key member of Medtronic's Surgical Robotics R&D RPM (Released Product Management) team, working to support the design of our first-generation robot. As a Sr. Project Analyst, R&D RPM you'll be an integral part of teams supporting Medtronic's flagship surgical robot, Hugo. You will be a critical member of projects related to SCR (Supplier Change Requests), enhancements, cost down, and component end-of-life issues in a very visible and fast-paced role.

A Day in the Life

This position reports to the Project Manager in R&D RPM and hybrid position based out of North Haven, CT.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are critical to success in this role, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with cross functional groups of engineers, PM's, sourcing, and other functions at Medtronic as well as our contract manufacturing sites. You will coordinate, prioritize, and drive project deliverables on the Hugo Surgical Robot, in accordance with Medtronic SOPs and business processes.

You will:

* Be the central point of contact for RPM priorities within your assigned subset of projects
* Monitor and prioritize projects and their subsequent subtasks; create and manage prochain schedules, prochain enterprise (PCE) updates, Jira maintenance, etc.
* Optimize and enhance RPM processes as we roll-out RPM to the greater MDT Robotics organization
* Manage and create dashboards to report RPM KPI's; Generate reports and analysis as needed to communicate to leadership and key stakeholders
* Evaluate and monitor project risks and escalations

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

* Bachelors degree required
* Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience

Nice to Have

* Experience with highly regulated and/or safety-critical systems (medical device experience strongly preferred)
* PMP/ other PM certification and experience leading projects
* Proficiency in excel required, Power BI experience preferred
* Experience with Prochain, Pipeline, PCE and/or Fusion strongly preferred
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
* Comfortable working in a fast passed, cross disciplinary environment
* Ability to discuss technical details with engineering staff.
* Astonishing level of attention to detail
* Ability to consistently push for results for self and others.
* Familiarity with MDT change control processes (CDP's and SCR's)
