As a way forward, and the to propel the association, the partners wish to hire an International Business Development Manager to be the single point of contact for all activities relating to this association and will be based out of the JGU campus at Sonepat, Haryana.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
A Post-graduate degree from a recognized institution in International Business, International Marketing or Trade or equivalent education and experience which has direct applicability within assigned markets.
Minimum three to five years’ experience in a role related to international student recruitment, marketing, sales, education delivery or administration of study abroad programs, with at least one cumulative year of up-to-date overseas experience in a business development environment.
Experience working with international and government agencies including lesioning with key stakeholders
Proven experience in nurturing or engagement in international partnerships and recruitment agent relations.
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
Familiar with current market conditions and industry trends in the markets relevant to the assigned region.
Highly developed, effective, and proven market development and relationship management.
Familiar with the use of communication; social media and information technologies for networking and marketing purposes.
Highly developed negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Excellence in customer service skills including cultural knowledge and skills in the context of the assigned market.
Demonstrated commitment in delivering excellent service to others as this is key in building and sustaining relationships.
Effective ability to interact with others and deal with situations in ways that respect diverse backgrounds, experience and styles.
Flexibility in adapting to change and in participating in consultative decision-making processes.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibility areas of the Deakin University International Business Development Manager based at the JGU Campus at Sonepat will be as follows:
Represent Deakin University at the campus for all joint initiatives of the partnerships
Facilitate interaction between stakeholders of the partnerships as and when required
Carry out promotional activities and information sessions to promote the programs and initiatives of the partnership in the region
Be the single point of contact for support for trouble shooting for students in the joint programs and prospective students
