The Role
Here at Mulberry Vets, we are looking for a dedicated Head Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will be confident in carrying out routine surgeries and be interested in mentoring new graduates as well as maintaining and improving clinical standards. You will be comfortable with some lone working as whilst this position is primarily working alongside our fantastic team of vets, there would be some sole charge work on weekends when required.
We are happy to accept both full/part-time applications for this role, with the full-time rota being 40 hours per week over 4 days, between 9:00 am-7:00 pm. There is a 1:3 weekend rota but no out of hours. We offer a competitive salary based on your experience.
Salary
The salary for this role is up to £75,000 DOE + Welcome Bonus + Relocation Allowance.
About Us
Mulberry Vets is located in Sudbury and you can see the attractive Suffolk landscape from the practice. We have all the usual equipment including x-rays, dental x-rays, ultrasound, ECG, TPLO and other basic orthopaedic kits.
Currently we have 7 Veterinary Surgeons including one cardiology certificate holder and two studying for certificates in dentistry and ECC, one specialist in oral surgery and dentistry, and 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses.
Applicant Requirements
The candidate will have a special interest in surgery and internal medicine to look after the discipline and grow in that area. The candidate must also have an interest in leadership.
