This position is responsible for:

Greeting all walk-in candidates seeking employment
Assisting potential new hires with applying for open positions
Conducting on-the-spot’ interviews
Thoroughly reviewing the work environment and job descriptions with all candidates
Providing tours of facility to candidates and new hires
Extending job offers to candidates
Processing pre-employment paperwork
Interfacing with third-party vendors
Conducting new hire orientations; auditing new hire paperwork for accuracy; and partnering with the recruiting team on follow up and related items
Other duties as assigned

This position is also expected to:

Present a friendly and helpful demeanor at all times
Independently and proactively identify issues and create solutions
Use HRIS and various websites for recruiting purposes
Fully participate in all recruitment activities including frequent interaction with the public
Partner with other recruiters and members of CMS to accomplish goals
Create a welcoming environment for applicants and new hires

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

Minimum of one year of customer service experience
Minimum of six months of HR/recruitment experience
Proficiency in two of the following languages: French, Spanish and/or Haitian Creole
High school diploma/GED
Strong attention to detail and high-level organizational skills
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
Desire to create and maintain a top notch, impeccable, and high performing onboarding experience for all candidates

Job Requirements:

Clear and fluent communication – both verbal and written
Ability to function at a high-level in a fast-paced, sometimes hectic environment
Walking, standing, and/or sitting for long periods of time
Ability to use a computer for recruitment and recordkeeping
Comfort interacting with a large number of people from numerous cultures who may not speak English well – or at all

Must be:

18 years of age
Able to successfully pass a criminal background check
Able to work in the evening or on the weekend a few times per year for events and job fairs
Able to work 8 plus hours per day
