Key Purpose of the Role:Coordinating, preparing and conducting product training and launches to our internal/external customers.Develop training and product support material fit for global rollout.Provide 2nd/3rd level product and application support of Standard Industrial Weighing related solutions for the Asia Pacific region.Support in local sales/ service activities for customers, such as seminars, webinars, product demonstrations and customer consulting.Corresponding with our global Strategic Product Groups to facilitate market intelligence, product development, quality improvements and testing.Strategic Outcome:Able to help our marketing organizations in the region to successfully achieve the sales and service of our products by enhancing their competencies and skills. Also resolve customer issues in a timely manner by learning and applying product functions, support tools, segment specified knowledge and regulatory compliance standards.Key Responsibilities:TrainingAnalyse training gaps and requirements for our sales/service force in the region.Proactively organize and provide onsite, remote and classroom training to our sales/service personnel and sometimes customers in line with global training curriculum.Develop and update training material (eg. Presentations, video, white papers) and provide local customizations.To promote and recommend the necessary training programs to help develop the skills of our personnel.Maintaining our training and demo equipment.Technical Advisory and Product AdvocateProviding prompt and expert application and product support mainly for Mettler Toledo’s standard industrial weighing solutions (hardware and software solutions) to Mettler-Toledo's sales and service organizations.Becoming a competent key technical advisor and product advocate for MT products.Communicate regulatory compliance requirement and applications effectively, demonstrating MT’s market leadership and expertise in the relevant fields.Understand user requirements and recommending solutions.Support in marketing activities, such as customer visits, seminars, exhibitions and in advanced product demonstrations.Product ManagementSupporting the Strategic Product Groups (SPGs) in successfully launching and training new products to the region.Support the development of certain technical/marketing materials such as FAQ, white paper or application notes/case studies and presentation materials.Able understand and note end customer’s current and future requirements and needs.Able to analyze competitor’s offering in the key markets.
