We are looking for someone with a unique vision to look after the creative activities for redBus’ new in house Ad agency, The Fuel @redBus. Someone with a copy background who will create & own the brand voice for redBus, rYde & redRail across all touch points, and will inspire and brainstorm ideas that will inform, entertain, engage and prompt affirmative action from the end user.
This role will report to the Creative Head, The Fuel @redBus (redBus’ internal Ad agency). And be a part of the Brand Marketing team at redBus.
The Creative Lead will take up all creative responsibilities working closely with the Marketing team & other teams in the organisation. This includes:
Creating campaigns for the various brands in our portfolio: redBus - India & SEA, and our new brands rYde(inter city cab rentals) and redRail (online rail bookings)
For redBus India, driving the Bharat agenda forward by creating communication that is regionally contextual by market. These could be paid media campaigns involving digital, print, OOH or owned media campaigns (in app, email, and push notifications). Also work on content ideas & IPs to bring the new redBus brand narrative to life.
For rYde & redRail, this role will offer the opportunity to build these new brands (their core & identity) from inception, through creating impactful communication across both paid & owned media channels
Conceptualising owned media communication including in-app communication, emailers, push notifications across redBus, rYde & redRail
Leading brand building on social media for redBus, rYde & redRail on Social Media by creating engaging content across social media posts, Instagram Reels etc
Creating in-funnel content on App & website to improve product journeys
Collaborating with the Visual Designers in the team to bring ideas and concepts to life
Collaborating with the Motion Graphic Artist to script, conceptualise and produce videos with a mix of graphic, animated illustrations and real-life imagery
Working from time to time with the mainline agencies for various verticals to bring national campaigns to life
Actively striving to improve email marketing performance and social media growth with creative ideas that work for specific channels
Looking at the performance of various campaigns and working at improving them creatively.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Journalism/Mass Communication OR MBA in Communication and Media Studies
Experience: 6 to 8 years of experience in copywriting in Advertising/Digital Advertising or related field
