What we are looking for:
As part of our rapid growth in the UK and Middle East, we are looking for an all-rounder that is a highly skilled and motivated Advisor. Working with the Logistics and Trade team, supporting our Executive and Senior Advisors, this position offers the opportunity to develop and aid in the growth of GHD Advisory's logistics and trade capabilities. Your responsibilities would include:
S upporting the vision and strategic plan for GHD Advisory within the Infrastructure and Cities team. This includes GHD Advisory's market presence, prominence, and market share.
Aid in assisting clients integrate, optimize and plan sustainable strategies for major infrastructure and logistics projects.
Support the provision of advice to private and public sector clients on legislation and regulatory developments in relation to freight, transportation, and facility planning
Support analysis of logistics/infrastructure projects, including the delivery of technical and commercial due diligence
Work with economic specialists in the preparation of business cases to support logistics/infrastructure development in the public and private sectors
Provide technical support on projects as required.
Provide technical support on tenders/bids or proactive client proposals.
Work collaboratively with other GHD staff and our clients, sharing information, ideas, and knowledge.
Managing your personal contribution to the team with guidance from a supervisor or senior team member.
Pursuing professional development opportunities.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
A passion for providing advice on influential logistics and trade solutions for private and public sector clients.
Have experience and a successful track record of delivering logistics and trade advice (or similar advice) within a management consultancy, infrastructure owner, regulator, operator, or public sector.
Experience in some of the following: regulatory advice, including international trade regulations operational strategy for logistic networks trade data and analysis infrastructure strategy and economics business case development feasibility studies economic development in the UK.
Degree qualification. Post graduate degree would be an advantage.
Strong client service focus, with intent of generating repeat business through excellent project delivery.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) that enable productive engagement and sustainable collaboration with colleagues and clients.
Experience of coding language.
