*We have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and motivated individual to join our growing Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) Scheme in Pembrokeshire. The Independent Domestic Violence Advisor scheme supports victims who are at High risk of imminent harm or homicide. The Independent Domestic Violence Advisor is a Domestic Abuse specialist with the knowledge and drive to prioritise the safety of victims and their families. Within this role you will predominately work with Male victims of Domestic Abuse. Our service supports victims of any gender and we are looking for someone to join our team with the focus of supporting victims of domestic abuse; and raising awareness amongst external agencies.
As an Independent Domestic Violence Advisor, you will advise, inspire, and support individuals and their families to lead safer lives. You will work flexibly as part of a team to develop, implement, and review safety plans based on individual needs, risks, preferences, and aspirations.

*We have a permanent opportunity available for 21 hours a week.*
*Equating to a potential 30 hours per week, exact salary of £14,430*
*\*The full time equivalent for this role is £25,425*
Hours are between Monday to Friday days, but full flexibility is required to meet the needs of the people we support.
We have a blended approach to the support we deliver and this can include working from home via the phone and video call, our offices, in peoples home and the local community within the Pembrokeshire area.
This role requires an enhanced DBS which we will pay for.
It is essential for the successful candidate to have a full drivers licence and access to a vehicle.

*You will: *
* Work with High risk victims of Domestic Abuse
* Advocate on behalf of high risk victims – Be the voice of the victim
* Work with individuals at crisis
* Be passionate about making victims and their families safer
* Work in partnership with external agencies
* Have a good level of education
* Be IDVA qualified or willing to work towards this qualification
* Have experience in the field of Domestic Abuse
* Use your skills and talents to engage with our clients
* You will be flexible with your working hours to meet the needs of the service users including evenings, weekend and an on call rota
