We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our busy team in Bicester.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
Managing the Preventative maintenance plan to ensure all equipment remains in service. 
Manage a parts inventory so we have an accurate stock count of all parts each month and re order as necessary to a par level.
Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production if required, If shutdowns are required work with production managers to coordinate this to work with production needs.
To ensure all technical requirements and processes are followed, implemented and policed correctly
Manage external contractors and make sure all necessary paperwork is completed and signed off before and after they finish work. 
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to preform required maintenance and service needs.
Diagnose problem, Replace or repair part test and make adjustments.
To ensure cleanliness are and hygiene are maintained
Ensure all technical non paperwork is thoroughly and accurately completed
Management and control of allergens, raw and cooked food
Manage and use PPE which will be provided
Must be able to commit to flexible working shift patterns as and when the job demands
Ability to follow written and spoken instructions
Have a good understanding of Health and Safety requirements
Help control maintenance budget spending
Have good powers of concentration and observation even when tasks are repetitive
Work experience within food production and food hygiene knowledge is essential, extra training will be given as required 
To work in a team based environment where all managers/employees work together for the good of the business
Via both formal and informal meetings ensure that your line managers and team are kept updated on any opportunities or threats that could impact the business
Through the department provide ongoing intelligence/data/information that can be used by others in order to make more informed decisions 
Ensure that all applicable legislations and standards (H&S, Food Hygiene regulations, BRC, SALSA, etc) are adhered to and that any violations are reported to the business
Maintain and contribute to a working knowledge of policies and regulations 
Specific projects or activities as directed by your line manager

Total Direct and Indirect Head count – Production Managers, Production Operatives, Kitchen Porters
