The role
We are passionate about delivering a high quality support service to Young Families and Children. The role of support worker is to support young parents and children on their road to independence and includes budgeting skills, safeguarding, access to education and employment and a positive role model.
Our service enables young families and children to receive support tailored to their individual needs. If you feel you have the skills, qualities and passion to deliver a high quality support service come and join our team in Chorley!
The right fit
You'll be able to demonstrate relevant experience supporting others and you'll be passionate about making a difference to young people.
You’ll have experience of working with vulnerable people and knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and case work.
You’ll be a confident, capable communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
You’ll have a positive and flexible approach to the role and have the ability to work under own initiative and be comfortable with lone working as well as working directly with other team members
You’ll need to complete an enhanced DBS for this role.

We provide additional support to residents including finding work, money advice or dealing with anti-social behaviour.
