The Role
Eureka Veterinary Centre is looking for a competent and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join and lead our small, delightful (we know everyone says that, but this is true!), friendly and efficient team on a full-time basis. Part-time applications will also be considered. Ideally, you will be available to work 4 days a week (we are flexible which days) between 8:30am - 6:30pm and one in two Saturdays between 8:30am – 12:30pm.
This is a small animal role based in our Ashford branch, but may occasionally extend to our Rainham, Kent branch. It will include a mix of consultations, surgery, and other procedures. The role will be a sole charge position. We are big on clear communication and always doing what we say, with high standards of care, great customer service and client continuity. We run 15-minute consultations and you will often have a nurse/student nurse available to help in consults. Consults will run in the mornings and afternoons with time in the middle of the day for some surgical procedures, reviewing cases and lunch!
The salary for the role is up to £70,000 per annum depending on experience.
About Us
We are a beautiful, light, and airy purpose-built SA practice in a small shopping centre located in Ashford. Situated less than an hour from London by train, near the interesting Kent coast and we offer a welcoming and extremely positive environment to work in. Here at Eureka, we truly value our staff, we are open to support and will always encourage our Vets to follow their increases, whether that be picking up a certain caseload or access to further study. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service, 100% dedication and care for our clients. We value our members of staff and understand the importance of a good work/life balance. We are well-equipped including in-house blood machine and digital X-ray machines.
If you would like more of an insight to the role, then who better to ask than the current Vet. She is leaving to relocate to another part of the country. If you wish, you can email her at Charlotte.biddle@eurekavets.co.uk. She will be happy to arrange time to chat with you.

Our very experienced and organised head Nurse, Anna, is an excellent leader of the rest of the team.
