Description


To strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
To oversee receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.
To receive Sales Orders and ensure loading of Tiles to Delivery Trucks according to the Sales Orders.
To get prepared Delivery Challans (DC) as per loading while ensuring accuracy and processing DC in accordance with the SOPs.
Responsible for arrangements of Transport while ensuring cost effectiveness.
To liaise with clients, suppliers and transporters regarding dispatches
To ensure safe handling of the goods from receiving to delivery to the dealers.
To minimize breakage of the tiles while loading and transportation.
To setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization for warehousing.
To coordinate with Production and Sales Departments regarding receiving and deliveries of orders.
To receive finished goods (tiles) from production department and stack according to the plan / lay out.
To ensure efficient traceability of warehoused goods.
To manage stock control and reconcile with data storage / IT system
To prepare reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.)
To prepare and manage annual budget of the department
To maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
To receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
To maintain statistical and financial records of the Warehouses and Dispatch operations.
To ensure that the quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met.
To recommend/suggest economical solutions of the problems by taking the rational utilization of man, material and machinery into consideration to improve the efficiency of the department.
To build a team of professionals in pursuit of departmental and organizational goals.
To provide on the job trainings to the subordinates to develop them for future.
To ensure effective utilization of work force to minimize the overtime.
To recommend and approve leaves, over time, increment and promotion of subordinates.
To ensure discipline at workplace and initiate disciplinary actions in case of any misconduct.
To assess performance of the team and suggest remedial measures for poor performers.
