A new opportunity has arisen within our Technology Innovation Management team in the Innovation and Skills Directorate. We are looking to recruit an Innovation Proposal Coordinator (IPC) to work closely with the Programme Manager. This role would be ideal for a person who is well-organised, has great attention to details and with strong reporting and communication skills. The role of the IPC is a key one within the Technology Innovation Management (TIM) team. The IPC acts as the stakeholder-facing contact and liaison point with all both internal and external stakeholders that form part of the team’s value chain of collaborative proposal management offerings. The IPC thus communicates with internal staff, clients, suppliers and third parties, to continuously ensure that all research proposal data and information is kept up to date for use by the team, the Programme Manager and the Section Manager. The IPC thus acts as a fulcrum to the administrative operation of the research proposal pipeline that the team delivers. This, with the ultimate aim of the team delivering research proposals to public funding bodies, on behalf of its clients, to enable them to access funds for the realisation of their research ideas.
