We are looking for an IT Support Technician who is humble, hungry, and smart. The perfect candidate must have a servant attitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a desire for learning. We support multiple client environments working on devices that operate on Windows, MacOS, Linux, and mobile operating systems, while looking for ways to improve and automate processes throughout the company and our clients organizations.
You will have opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge in new areas and technologies. We all love to have a pet project and share awesome technology with the team using our development hardware or learn how to build something new on testing hardware! Other than rare projects that require after-hours work, you won't be expected to work overtime and travel will be minimal. Each technician takes a week on call for emergencies (which rarely happen). We work hard (and quite possibly drink too much coffee) for eight hours, then we go home and spend time connecting with our families.
We're looking for someone with:
2+ years of IT support experience
A strong passion for excellence and efficiency (we LOVE automation)
Familiar with basic to intermediate networking concepts such as DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP
A+ or equivalent IT Certifications
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Experience supporting applications such as Microsoft Office 365 and G Suite
Good organizational skills and the ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
Effective oral communication skills
Comfortable with documenting troubleshooting steps
Self starting mindset
Desire to use, improve, and write procedure documentation
