Audio Video Technician

Your Role with the Company

The Audio-Video Technician will assist with, perform, or oversee the routine installation, termination, maintenance, and layout of audio and video cabling and hardware. You will perform routine functions such as measurements, installation of wire, cable and support structure, basic user end terminations, etc. You will use prints and schematics to identify cable paths and other details critical to a successful installation. You may be involved in the rough in and trim out of Audio Visual “Head ends” and other distribution points throughout the project site.

Background Profile/Skills

1+ years experience installing audio visual cabling and hardware in a commercial environment.

Capable of pulling, identifying, and labeling various cables/wires used to transmit audio/video signals as well as installing related support structure.

Ability to follow instruction and work well with others in fast-paced, constantly changing environments.

Driven to pursue continuing education as it relates to Commercial Audio-Visual Systems Integration.

Safety Conscious.

An excellent communicator with great work ethic

Experience with advanced terminations and soldering desired

AVIXA CTS certification(s) a plus but not required.
