Tip Top is currently looking for a Regulatory Affairs Manager to be based in North Ryde, to lead the Regulatory Affairs function by partnering with relevant internal and external business stakeholders to ensure all packaging and associated advertising material meet legal and compliance obligations with respect to food regulations and Australian Consumer Law.
Reporting to the Head of Quality & Regulatory Affairs ANZ, this role will also play a leadership role to the Regulatory Affairs associates and drive continuous improvement within the function.
Purpose of the Role
Provide internal stakeholders the support in regulatory and consumer law compliance
Supporting the regulatory affairs team through prioritisation of projects by working with internal stakeholders
Development and approval of product packaging labelling, Food Standard Code and Consumer Law related external communication (including external inquiry) and advertising materials
Ensuring Regulatory Affairs functions are meeting the relevant standards for compliance requirements
Support team's workload when necessary
Taking the lead to anticipate and understand regulatory changes that could potentially affecting our brands' strategy.
Have the right connections with external various
The ideal candidate will have:
Degree qualified in Food Science/Nutrition with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience
Strong working knowledge of Food Standards Code and Australian Consumer Laws
Strong working knowledge from a food manufacturing FMCG background required
Demonstrated ability to mix professionally and build effective relationships at all levels internally and externally
Proven leadership experience through building trusting relationships to deliver business goals
