We are looking for a Project Manager experienced in project delivery.
You’ll lead the delivery of multiple projects throughout the project life cycle, including infrastructure supporting water, sewerage, recycled water and renewable energy networks for Barwon Asset Solutions (BAS).
As a project manager, you will be a creative and organisation professional, whose key responsibilities will be to safely and efficiently deliver projects and provide support to project engineers and supervisors. You will have a strong working knowledge of risk mitigation and management techniques and a background in water or similar sector.
You’ll be customer focused with a commercial mindset teamed with good communication skills.
You will be an expert stakeholder manager, coupled with interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, with an ability to influence and engage others. You blend this expertise with an innovative approach to problem solving.
Your collaborative and inclusive leadership style and strategic planning skills will enable you team to perform at a high level and see the projects delivered on time. You can apply your sound knowledge of project management to our varied infrastructure program.
To be considered for the role, you’ll have:
tertiary qualifications in engineering and/or extensive experience in similar related disciplines
demonstrated industry experience in project management and construction management, preferably within the utilities sector
considerable practical experience leading project teams to deliver on key project milestones and objectives
knowledge of construction SQE risk management
effective communication capabilities as well as problem solving ability
ability to work cross-functionally and develop strong relationships with clients and subcontractors
experience delivering water infrastructure projects is desirable.

BAS Projects are delivered for multiple clients across Victoria, including Barwon Water's minor capital works program, using delivery models involving our own trades people and subcontractors.
