Position overview

The Facilities and Services Division (F&S) ‘enables academic excellence at the ANU through integrated and innovative facilities and project delivery’. The three key portfolios within the Division are Infrastructure & Planning, Operations, and Corporate. The Division’s Operations Portfolio has diverse responsibilities, including facility issue maintenance/management, enhancements, cleaning, grounds and safety initiatives in all campus environments across the ANU.

The Projects Transition Manager is responsible for overseeing projects from date of practical completion through to obtaining the certificate of making good from the client's representative.

The Projects Transition Manager will use their initiative and technical expertise to establish, implement and deliver services and strategies consistent with the values and priorities of the University and in compliance with relevant government legislation and statutory frameworks. The Projects Transition Manager will develop and maintain professional and effective working relationships, and be responsive and work closely with other team leaders and team members across the Facilities and Services Division.

To be successful in this role you will have an ability to manage key stakeholders effectively and build valuable relationships. You will understand risk management involved in maintenance and facilities works and associate environments and incorporate strong preventative safety approaches in your project management and delivery. You will have demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships and work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.
