We are a small biopharmaceutical company located in Sunshine West Victoria 3020, and we are seeking a hands-on and engaging Finance Manager to join our team on a full time basis.

As a Finance Manager, you will report to the CEO and be responsible for day-to-day management of the finance function as well as supporting office management tasks.

The role will be actively involved in the following areas:
Day to day management of Accounting and Financial functions
Annual budgeting and forecasting
Managing payroll (weekly and fortnightly) and other HR related payment activities
Accounts receivable and accounts payable
Bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
Managing all contractual obligations for the business including customers, suppliers and employees
Monthly management meetings
Managing cash flow
Managing business insurances
Reporting and lodgement of BAS/Payroll Tax/PAYG and SGC payments
Liaison with external accountants, advisors, solicitors and insurance providers
Skills and personal attributes to be successful:
A Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Accounting or Finance
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to work well in a small team environment
Strong organisation and time management skills, with an eye for detail and capable of multi-tasking
Strong people management skills, adaptable and a team player
