We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Account Manager to join our team. Based in Adelaide or Melbourne, the role will also be partnering with leaders in the US & Canada as well as Australia. We’re looking for a true strategic leader to help us build solutions, drive technical discussions, and oversee the execution of projects.

About the Role

As a trusted advisor with technical experience, you’ll provide advice and support to clients on services and best practices, architecture, project and launch planning as well as ongoing operational issues. In this senior role, you will have an opportunity to impact our processes and roadmaps, directly influencing how our clients interact with our products and how we continue to grow our business.

 Responsibilities:
Support solutions, provide technical guidance and advocate for the customer
Ensure environments remain operationally healthy whilst reducing cost and complexity
Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges
Using your technical acumen and customer focus, you’ll drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
Consult with a range of partners from developers through to C-suite executives
Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers
Proactively find opportunities for customers
Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions and all metrics
Solve a variety of problems across different customers
Exercises independent judgement in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
Works with operations, to provide ongoing maintenance including updates, patches and antivirus updates
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in assigned technology including hardware, software, operating systems and application-related issues; Conducts performance monitoring, systems health checks and capacity planning
Take complete ownership for the assigned task and report progress of the project / task to all stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner
Provides technical direction, expertise within the team; leadership may be provided by assigning work to others
Identifies issues prior to client impact, documents issues, and works directly with individuals and teams from different areas of the organization to drive product improvement
Leads teams through adversity and critical incidents, help to drive closure, and seeks resolution when issues are escalated
Standardizes and automates processes and monitoring using scripting technology; Understands and follows change management procedures
Support clients undertaking gap analysis between current and future state so that the configuration of solutions meets client needs.
Work collaboratively with Altera and client teams to contribute to the identification of benefits associated with solution delivery, the successful delivery of benefits and the assessment of baselines.
About You:
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent related experience.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience as Technical Accountant Manager or similar
Cloud Hosting expertise with a preference towards Azure knowledge and certifications
Experience in the medical field would be highly regarded, although not essential
Proven team leadership, organisational and communication skills
Ability to work self-directed and within the member of a team
Proven ability to collaborate with individual contributors and business leaders to define business process issues, analyse operational efficiencies, implement creative solutions, and measure delivery results.
Strong conviction in the role and has the willingness to take on challenges.
Flexible and able to easily adapt to new situations and/or challenges.
