As Solutions Architect (SA) - you actively work to define solutions for the Managed Services business to take to market as well as assist with the identification and closure of Managed Services sales. Solution Architects work to define solutions within an array of small, medium & high complexity service environments that include existing or new service clients. The individual works across various technologies, business units and associated products, providing solutions that meet client objectives.

The primary objective of a Solutions Architect is to position tailored Managed Services to existing and prospective clients. They develop a thorough understanding of the client's business needs and technology strategy and use this to define and build a solution that aligns with the client's business and technology objectives.

In this role you will be responsible to:
Lead or assist with bid processes
Develop service models
Manage Cost Drivers
Ensure Service Sales
Manage Transition Management
Manage Vendor Engagement
Implement Best Practice
Client Engagement Management
To be successful in this role you will have:
5 - 8 years' work experience as a solutions architect in an IT or MSP outsourcing organisation
At least 5 years' experience in services within a large scale (preferably multi-national) technology services environment across a range of services
Experience in enterprise services and service delivery environments including technical and service management exposure
Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs
Required to have a working knowledge of ITIL, Prince2/AGILE and/or TOGAF with preference to executing in the environment
Track record of effective project and transition management
Demonstrated experience negotiating and consulting with 3rd party vendors as well as large national/international cross functional teams
Demonstrated experience in negotiation skills (specifically in resetting client expectations, realigning SLA/KPI's, remapping business requirements etc)
Demonstrated experience in writing business cases, proposals, statement of works, sales collateral, service catalogues etc.
Proven experience in establishing and or running continuous improvement programs / transformation / transitions or consultative engagements with customers or internal business units
