We are currently seeking the services of a Customer Platform Manager to join our Sydney based team and manage the delivery of new platforms as well as the enhancement and support for existing customer platforms.

The Role

The Customer Platform Manager will support the delivery of GPT’s customer technology products in line with the strategy and roadmap.

A key customer platform at GPT is Salesforce and new digital platforms are planned to be implemented over the next 2 years to create seamless customer experiences.

This is a hands-on role, working in blended internal and external team, requiring experience and skills in delivery of projects, platforms and products as well operational experience in managing application platforms.

The Customer Platform Manager will require versatility to performs multiple roles depending on the situation.

What you will be doing
Providing application development, configuration, testing & support for projects and products in a blended team of internal staff and partner resources
Backlog management and implementation
Business Case development, project planning and delivery
Ensuring platform services are robust, scalable, supportable and compliant through implementing appropriate operational support capabilities.
Vendor Management for key 3rd party suppliers providing delivery services and managed services
Develop cost models and budgets for operating customer platforms to optimise costs
Reporting on pipeline management, resourcing, and financials
What makes you stand out

You will need to be tertiary qualified and have Project, Product and Platform management experience preferably in a busy technical environment and with exposure to Salesforce.

You will need to have had experience in delivering customer facing and digital solutions, in an agile environment, as well as managing resourcing and delivery of platform features.

With an understanding of ITIL, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to succinctly resolve both operational and technical issues in conjunction with vendors, when required.
