Come and join the team at Walmsley Retirement Village where we are leading the industry in driving our award winning 'Better Together' model, raising the quality of living in aged care. We are currently looking for an experienced Gardener to join the friendly team in Kilsyth on a Part-Time basis (3 days per week)
Located in Kilsyth , Walmsley Village is set amongst 12 hectares of parks and gardens and home to our 192 unit Retirement Community. As the Gardener you will provide a support service that enhances our customer’s wellbeing in their home and the grounds of the village.
What you will be doing
Lawn maintenance; mowing, whipper snipping, edging
Garden maintenance; planting, weeding, mulching, pruning
Ensuring gardens and public areas of our 192 unit Retirement Community are maintained and presented to a high standard
Building/maintaining garden beds and minor landscaping.
Cleaning garden areas; leaf blowing, sweeping, removing cuttings
Providing meaningful experiences which enables our residents to thrive
A horticultural background and/or qualification - if preferred but not essential
Proven experience in a garden maintenance role
A reliable team member with an eye for detail that takes pride in your work
Confident in the use of ride-on lawn mowers, whipper snippers, leaf blowers etc.
Ability to build positive and warm working relationships with our customers
A motivated, self starter with availability to work part time (3 days per week).
Manual drivers licence preferred
