We are seeking a systematic problem solver and analytics translator with incident or problem management experience. As a delivery-oriented continuous assurance analyst, with data management experience, you will work with system owners to conduct system and underlying resilience data assessment with a focus on improving test attestation and compliance according to assurance framework.

In this role, you will be required to work across multiple technology teams, building and maintaining strong relationships. You will use your ability to influence and support a diverse set of stakeholder groups to contribute to the completion of deliverables that support excellent team collaboration. This role will also allow you to use your operational process experience to identify opportunities for maturation of the resilience framework and improved outcomes for owners of technology within Macquarie.

As part of the team, you will utilise your technical background, organisational skills, and stakeholder engagement expertise to work with our global technology teams to coordinate and execute the Technology Resilience Strategy. This will include managing major data centre failovers, supporting the delivery of improved technical resilience solutions, driving results to remediate resilience risk, and uplifting our standards in line with internal strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key activities will be:

Assist in the implementation, monitoring and maturing of the Technology resilience continuous assurance framework
Assist in the identification, documentation and implementation of findings on priority incidents relating to resiliency capability
Track and report on progress of resilience improvements identified through priority incidents
Develop process workflow including appropriate controls to review and attest adherence to continuous assurance framework
Identify and report risks/continuous assurance gaps and liaise with system owners to remediate
Working with stakeholders to review their resiliency setup to align with service capability. Assist with the coordination and review workshops where applicable.
Stay well-informed on changes to guidelines, standards and internal policies then recommend proactive changes to existing procedures

Desirable skills and experience:

Experience across one or more on risk, audit, assurance, compliance reporting, and IT system QA/testing, implementation, management and high availability
Excellent communication skills and interest in building relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to organise and prioritise to meet deadlines
Incident and/or Problem management background
Experience in applying controls to information systems and effectiveness
Analytically inclined
Sound problem solving skills
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with idea for change and improvements
People interaction
Process improvement
