Basic Function

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Administrator, under general supervision, provides administrative support to the local functional areas of Human Resources.

Job Duties

* Processes and verifies accuracy of various forms for employment, payroll, and/or other confidential documents and records
* Data management in HRIS, Success Factors, MyLearning (LMS) and other systems as applicable
* Prepares routine and non-routine correspondence, reports, forms, and documents
* Compiles, analyzes and summarizes data for monthly and ad hoc reporting
* Creates and maintains employee files and records (electronic or hard copy) for any one or a combination of payroll, training, employee relations, compensation, pension/retirement, etc.
* Reporting on Employee and HR metrics
* Assist with management/maintenance of the Learning Management System (MyLearning)
* Provides support for both internal, mid-career and campus recruiting
* Project work as applicable

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion


* 1 year of related experience preferred

Education Level

* Post-secondary education is required
* Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management is preferred

Required Skills

* Basic knowledge of human resource management principles and practices, and administrative procedures
* Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in excel
* Ability to run reports, analyze and interpret data and present findings
* Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal
* Stakeholder management with various levels within the organization as well as external vendors
* Detail oriented with the ability to collect, review and organize personnel-related data
* Strong time management and organizational skills

Work Conditions

* This is an office based role at our Lubricants Facility with occasional travel between sites
* This is a temporary full-time contract lasting approximately one year in length
