The Future Teachers programme created by Teaching Personnel could be the perfect way to secure a placement in our secondary schools as a teaching assistant, learning mentor or cover supervisor prior to starting a teacher training programme with a school you feel comfortable with.
You will complete a one-year placement working in a support role that will enable you to build both a fantastic relationship with the school and develop the essential skills needed to become an outstanding teacher. You will then be given the opportunity to secure a schools direct teacher training post if your placement school offer this or will be in an excellent position to secure a university teacher training placement given the experience you have gained.
The Future Teachers programme is ran in partnership currently with Secondary schools across the South Yorkshire area to help the current teacher shortage across the country.
