Director of Finance & Operations Charity North Leeds Do you want to help preserve the history and help shape the future of an organisation embedded in the heart of it's local community? As Director of Finance & Operations for this highly commercial, charitable organisation you will be responsible for more than just the numbers! The Finance & Ops Director is responsible for managing financial strategy and on site operations including working with staff to translate strategic objectives into operational plans. as Interim Director you will ensure maintenance of the Charity's financial and management accounting and budgeting systems including overseeing the production of monthly management accounts, preparation of statutory returns, managing the year end process and external audit. You will also be responsible for cash reporting and forecasting. YOu will also have operational responsibility for the core team including IT, Legal, Facilities, H&S, Security, Risk & Compliance supporting the team to ensure they have the skills and capabilities to deliver the day to day operations. This role reports to the Chief Executive and to the Board and will provide financial and operational leadership and management to support the SMT.
