Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are exclusively working with a major supplier based in Mirfield. This client is a market leading, global company with a current turnover of c£100million.My client is looking for a confident individual who has the ability to create, and maintain, strong professional relationships. This role will require excellent communication skills to co-ordinate effectively the purchasing and transportation of goods. The successful incumbent will be expected to work towards achieving KPI's, liaise with the transportation and production team and negotiate best price.Key duties and responsibilities will include: * Communicating effectively with existing and new clients * Monitoring of stock levels to ensure efficient production* Negotiating pricing and reaching mutual agreements with suppliers * Raising purchase orders and sales orders and ensuring orders are sent to suppliers and customers in a timely manner* Source new suppliers and materials in line with the objective of increasing quality and achieving best price* Record material data effectively in line with the companies and personal objective Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain would be keen to speak with candidates who have the following skills and experiences: * Experience working within a Procurement position * Ability to maintain, and create, key relationships with suppliers and customers* Desire to grow and progress within the companyElevation Procurement & Supply Chain is a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment focusing on engineering, operational and technical positions in Yorkshire and surrounding regions.
