Acquisitions Administrator

Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established, dynamic organisation based in Bromsgrove. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving fast-paced environment as an Acquisitions Administrator.

Summary

To provide comprehensive administrative support associated with the acquisition process and projects. This is a busy role, and we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, work ethic and the ability to work to challenging deadlines and ever-changing priorities.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assisting with all acquisition projects and liaison with third parties
  • Assisting the Acquisitions Manager with all acquisition tasks
  • Attending Acquisitions meetings and taking minutes where required
  • Coordinating and distributing due diligence to departments across the business
  • Collating departmental due diligence queries and being the main point of contact in respect of these for the Acquisitions department
  • Arranging weekly department catch-up meetings, to ensure close and consistent communication is maintained
  • Overseeing all acquisition databases and ensuring that all due diligence is recorded centrally in a uniform manner
  • Ensuring project plans and reports is kept up to date and distributed to the appropriate people in the business

Skills and experience

  • A minimum of 12 months of experience within a similar is desirable
  • Previous experience of working in a financial service preferable
  • Effective organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to forge and develop relationships
  • Experienced using Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Delivery-focused, with a drive for quality throughout
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must have a keen eye for detail
  • Willing to learn and develop
  • Able to work as part of a team, or if required, under your own initiative
