About the role
The Intermediate Consultant will be for an internal auditor with a minimum of 1 year's relevant experience either in the accountancy profession or industry.r>
Working under the supervision of a Senior Consultant or Manager this role is responsible for the timely completion of the allocated job.his will involve assisting in planning, audit work, delegation of appropriate work to junior members of the team and review of this work, passing a completed audit file and report work to Senior Consultants and Managers to review.r>
Responsibilities
In addition to this, some of your key responsibilities will be
Fully completing the audit file for assisting in a range of the Firm's clients from planning to finalisation of the file.r>
Demonstrate a good understanding of the nature of a client's business operations, needs and expectations, and an awareness of these factors in relation to audit issues identified during the course of their audit testing.r>
Be involved in providing effective on the job training to junior members of staff.r>
Demonstrate an awareness of the audit plan, such that the level of audit testing conducted reflects the risks identified at the planning stage.r>
Skills and experience

A minimum of 12 months experience working in an Internal Audit role
Degree qualified in Commerce, or Business with an accounting major.r>
You are proficient and demonstrate a keen interest and desire to develop their knowledge and keep updated with the latest accounting and auditing developments.r>
The ability to work with junior members of staff by providing them with support and guidance and in some instances, act as a buddy.r>
Have had prior experience working with and developing good relationships with clients.r>
Have good time management skills and be able to prioritise work and meet deadlines for multiple clients.r>
Ability to research and consider varied risk areas
Excellent report writing skills
The salary range for the role is from $65, to $75, inclusive of superannuation
