Cefn is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Coordinator to join our team and manage our current electrical maintenance requirements and also the electrical aspect of our ongoing building program.

This is a new position within the Cefn organisation and to reflect its importance to our ongoing needs, a Salary of $120 000 per annum plus vehicle is on offer.

COMPANY PROFILE

Cefn Pty Ltd is a family-owned farming enterprise proudly celebrating their 82nd year in the pork industry in Australia. Cefn employs over 120 staff and has grown to become an operation consisting of over 8,000 sows and progeny situated across five sites in the Clifton/ Leyburn districts and one in the Yelarbon area, on the Darling Downs in southeast Queensland. Our facilities utilize some of the most up to date technology and building design, providing optimal conditions for producing market leading animals. To supplement our pork production, we have an automated Feed Mill, a Transport Division, a Maintenance and Construction Division and number of other departments all working together to achieve Cefn's goals.

THE ROLE

The successful applicant must have excellent communication, be able to lead a team but must also be "hands on" when required. Relevant experience in similar roles must be able to be demonstrated.

Responsibilities:


Undertake all aspects of the Electrical Trade, including reactive and planned maintenance

Test for, locate and repair electrical malfunctions

Install, test and commission electrical and electronic control systems

Assemble electrical and electronic components and appliances

Test for, locate and repair electrical malfunctions

Coordinate and conduct RCD and Safety Switch testing

Reading and interpretation of drawings to organise materials and plan installations

Prepare quotes and ordering of materials both small and large scale projects

Prepare and maintain records relevant to electrical installations

Provide completed paperwork in a timely manner in order to meet company deadlines

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Electrical Trade Qualification

High level understanding of schematics

Practical experience in managing a team to deliver preventative and corrective maintenance activities.

High level knowledge of the requirements for the management and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial or industrial settings

Demonstrated practical project and contract management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines and deliverables

Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyse schematics, operations, maintenance and asset information

High level communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

Driver's Licence

Construction Induction Card (White Card)

High level of attention to detail
