About the role
The Community Health Registered Nurse's role is multi-focal working with the Enrolled Nurse and Aboriginal Primary Health Care Worker to provide community-based care within Collarenebri township and surrounding areas. Registered Nurse is required to work within the guidelines of WNSWLHD.gt;

As a Registered Nurse Community Health youll get to work with a great team in a flexible environment.ining will be provided for ongoing learning and development of skills and most of the modules are available on My Health Learning a WNSWLHD internal employee tool to enhance skills.gt;

Where youll be working

Collarenebri Multipurpose Service (MPS) is a 13-bed facility which includes sub-acute and residential aged care facilities, a 24-hour emergency care and ambulatory care services, a range of primary and community health services and a general .gt;

Collarenebri is a town of approximately 650 people with just over 42% identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples.is located kilometres south of the Queensland border and 150 kilometres from the city of Moree.gt;

Industries in the area include cotton and wheat farming, sheep and beef cattle breeding.er activities include fossicking for gemstones such as topaz, agate and petrified wood.gt;

The nearby Barwon River has a reputation as one of the best inland fishing locations in Australia and the region hosts several bush horse races, is home to authentic Australian bush pubs (including the Carinda lodging which was used for filming David Bowies Lets Dance video in 1983) and opal fields from which the most significant dinosaur fossils were found in , including several species exclusive to the area.gt;

Collarenebri has a small grocery store, butcher, post office, takeaway store, pub and club and a school catering for children from kindergarten to Year 12.gt;
