Position: Sr. Associate, Product Marketing
Strand Life Sciences is a 21-year-old precision medicine company and a trusted provider of NGS-based genomic diagnostic services to the clinical market in India. It is also a leading global provider of bioinformatics software and services to large genomics instrument manufacturers, genomic diagnostics innovators, and leading pharma/biotech companies.
Strand clinical diagnostic tests in India cover a diverse set of conditions including inherited/rare diseases, oncology, neurology, nephrology and other. Strand is R&D based, innovation driven, and ethically guided. Strand’s diagnostic services are powered by its proprietary Strand Omics platform that combines bioinformatics algorithms, curated databases, visualization interfaces and reporting capabilities.
Strand has built bioinformatics software for most analytics platforms: microarrays, mass spectrometry, next generation sequencing, high throughput microscopy and digital PCR, covering the spectrum from genomics, transcriptomics, epigenomics, and systems biology.

Strand is looking for a product marketing professional to lead marketing efforts for sub set of Strand’s genomic diagnostics products. Experience with leading marketing programs directed at health care practitioners and overall familiarity with life sciences/ health care domain will be highly preferable. The role demands extensive participation in defining, improving and growing diagnostics products by closely coordinating with the internal stakeholders. The role will report into the Head of Marketing of the India Commercial business.
Develop content for marketing collaterals and other use cases
Define marketing programs for specific diagnostics products and lead execution
Drive product positioning, product launch strategy
Contribute to new product creation by engaging with clinicians and other key opinion leaders
Develop detailed understanding of the market and competitive landscape
Interpret how customers use our products and translate that into new opportunities for products that solve real problems
Translate user needs into compelling stories designers can use to draw user flows and interactions, and developers can use to build the product
Track and stay accountable for the business metrics for assigned products
· Graduate degree in Science or Technology
· 5+ years of experience in product marketing
· Marketing experience in life science, pharma or health care domain is preferable but not mandatory
Demonstrated experience in collaborating and working across teams
Willingness to be hands-on and energetic in driving business outcomes
· Strong communication skills
· Proficiency in English and preferably additional Indian languages
